The Story of Podium Equestrian
As we celebrate our 1 month anniversary of Podium Equestrian being live, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on how far we've come and let you all in on the Story of Podium Equestrian.
The idea for Podium Equestrian was born in 2020, after co-founders Layne Shepherd and Tiffany Pintaudi noticed a gap in the Australian equestrian apparel market. The styles that they had become accustomed to seeing and loving in street & active wear were completely missing from the equestrian market. Given that equestrian sport is trending increasingly more towards an emphasis on overall health & fitness for both horse & rider, they thought it was vital that equestrian apparel do the same, and adapt to the equestrian athlete lifestyle.
Both being highly interested in health and fitness, Layne and Tiffany wanted to create a collection that was not only stylish and up-to-date with current active and streetwear trends, but was made to benefit all the needs of the modern equestrian athlete. 12-months, and a lot of learning curves later, and Podium Equestrian was launched.
Podium Equestrian's first collection is the High Performance collection. The High Performance range boasts high quality fabrics featuring: technical 4-way stretch, compression capabilities, temperature-regulation and moisture wicking materials. With special features including mesh panelling for increased air flow, and our subtle inner thigh, knee & calf grip system for increased confidence & support in the saddle.
They designed the collection to take you from saddle to street in style & confidence. Work out, ride or go to coffee. The High Performance range was designed to adapt to you and your lifestyle.
We look forward to growing and sharing our journey with you, our Podium family. We would love to hear from YOU. Please get in touch and let us know: what styles you want to see in the future, any topics you want us to discuss in our blog, or just drop us an email or DM to say hello.
